The 1st National InvesTech workshop was successfully completed

А workshop of about 30 experts, teachers and students on the topic "Model of CoVE" was successfully concluded. It took place on 30.10.2024 in the "Mone" Hall of the Impresamente Hotel at the International Business School (IBS) in connection with the implementation of the InvestTech Project. The organizer of the meeting was Cluster Sofia Knowledge City with the support of Joint Innovation Center and Technological School of Electronic Systems at the Technical University - Sofia (TUES), partner organizations for the implementation of this project.

The meeting was opened by Dr. Milena Koleva.

Once again, #MediatechOnStage is happening as an online event, aiming for the attendance of a bigger and broader audience. Organized as part of the MediaMotorEurope mentoring program, the third edition of #MediatechOnStage features 20 startups that are part of the program’s third support cycle.


Media and creative industries workshop

On December 5, 2023, the Cluster Sofia Knowledge City held a seminar on talents and competencies in the media and creative industries. At the end of the last century, creative industries became the strategic engine for growth, for creating new jobs and for strengthening the culture of societies in developed countries. The contribution of these industries to the GDP of most European countries is invariably between 2% and 5%, and their contribution to the creation of entrepreneurship in Europe is one of the most significant. Undoubtedly, the knowledge, skills and abilities of entrepreneurs in these industries play an extremely important role in economic growth and the prosperity of society.


Conclusions from the MediaMotor coaching programme at Innovation hub in Sofia

During the last 12 months, 10 promising deeptech startups (from a total of 61 startups and scaleups) were selected for the two batches of the MME mentorship program and attached to be served by the Innovation Hub Sofia under a MediaMotorEurope intensive mentoring program.

The aim of the MME project was to bring selected deeptech innovators from an MVP to growing companies together with candidate clients in the media sector and potential investors.
