We inform the members and friends of the Cluster Sofia Knowledge City that it is time to make a decision to visit the largest and most influential event in the world for urban innovation - the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), which will be held from 5 to 7 November 2024. SCEWC is the leading international event for cities and smart urban solutions, organized by Fira de Barcelona every year. This year will be the biggest edition of this event to date. Under the theme "Live Better", the exhibition and convention will have a 30% increase in exhibition space compared to the previous record-breaking event, which took place in 2023.

A Bulgarian version of an interesting guide (manual) for educators has been released, including for trainers, teachers, lecturers, mentors, facilitators and other experts in education who use games in the learning process.The title of this material is "A Gamification-Infused Trainers' Guide for Digital Education".
It presents, in an accessible language, the minimum knowledge and tools that can help the educators to more easily navigate the complex world of gamification in its digital context.
On June 21, 2024, the second meeting of the City of Knowledge Club took place in the BARTER Community Hub in the Vitosha Business Center.
This time our meeting was focused on "The city and education", and the topic was "Innovative technologies to support education".
The host of the meeting, which provided the pleasant atmosphere, was Risk Electronic Ltd. - co-founder of the Sofia City of Knowledge Cluster and a leader in these technologies.
The Innovation Vocational Excellence in Tech (INVESTech) project started with the first project meeting in Kosice, Slovakia. The meeting was hosted by the Technical University of Kosice. 35 participants from 6 countries (Slovakia, Greece, Lithuinia, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Italy) took part in this meeting to discuss about the project purpuse, tasks, schedule and the roles of the partners in the project performance next 4 years. From Bulgaria participated Milena Koleva and Dimitar Hristov (Cluster Sofia Knowledge City) and Teodora Sotirova and Daniela Levi (Joint Innovation Centre of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences).
