Transnational Partner’s Meeting in Piraeus

The main goal of the project Green Skills for Better Employability (DEGREBE) is to develop an innovative and digital educational package for Generation Z learners and their trainers. All partners of the project  gathered on 11th – 12th of October, for the 3rd Transnational Partner’s Meeting. The event was organised and hosted by IDEC, in Piraeus, Greece.  The partnership, discussed about the finalisation of the Digital Education Package and they presented the final version of the visual novel!! Next step: to be available in all partners’ languages!! Partners discussed also the finalisation of the Guidebook for Teachers and Trainers about the use of gamification in classrooms.


Industrial Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC - 2023

The inspiring experience of Cluster Sofia Knowledge City from the participation of its team in last year's edition last year's edition of Industrial Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC (ITAP) in Singapore motivated us to focus the attention of cluster members and our partners on this exhibition again. Last year's edition was the first physical post-Covid event, attracting over 15,000 attendees from 76 countries and regions, with more than 35% of attendees being C-level executives and key industry decision-makers.

We invite you to participate in the new edition of  ITAP 2023, which is going to be held in Singapore 18 - 20 October 2023.


Our visit to the Smart City Expo is coming up

This year again, the Sofia City of Knowledge Cluster will participate in the Smart City Expo in Barcelona, the largest and most influential global event for smart technologies and urban innovation, which will take place from November 7 to 9. Together with another 25,000 participants from all over the world, we will have the chance for direct contact with potential partners and for meetings with the best experts in the field of smart cities in the world. We are witnessing an unprecedented rate of urbanization.

According to the United Nations, in 2050, 70% of the Earth's population will live in cities, and this rate of urban population growth and the emergence of new megacities is a market force driving technology and innovation.


CSKC participated in conference Clusters Meet Regions

On September 13-15, the Cluster Sofia Knowledge City had the pleasure of participating in a professional event in the city of Burgas - the "Clusters Meet Regions" conference, organized in cooperation with the European Commission. The event brought together experts, business leaders, academic representatives and political figures from different countries to discuss opportunities for sustainable development and innovation in the ICT sector.

The conference provided a platform for the exchange of ideas and practices, with a particular focus on green transformation and the circular economy.
