CSKC started new project Digiskill-retail - 2022-1-DE02-KA220-VET-000089396, ERASMUS+.

The project has a budget of 250 Th. EUR, incl. 45.6 Th. EUR for CSKC. It will be implemented by 4 partners from 4 European countries and will end in 2024. The project aims to establish a program and materials for diveloping digital competences for employees and trainers in the retail sector. On 14 October 2022, the kick-off meeting for the Erasmus + project „Digiskill-retail“ took place with all partners face-to-face in Berlin. The meeting was hosted by the coordinator ZBB (Zentralstelle für Berufsbildung im Handel e.V.)

The roadmap for the project has been set and the first steps for the implementation of the individual work packages have been discussed. Overall, it was a very successful start for the project with an intensive exchange of information, ideas and common workplan with clear expectations and deadlines among all partners.

With the results from the project, the Cluster promotes the increase of digital competences and skills of trainees as well as employees in the retail sector. To this end, 40 to 60 retail-specific e-learning units are being developed that correspond to the current level and future needs of the activity profile in the two main occupations of salesperson and retail clerk. The e-learning units are to be used in a variety of ways in the sense of flexible application possibilities both in the national and in the European educational landscape of retail. The project approach is based on the European frameworks The Digital Competence Framework for Citizens, DigComp and the Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators (DigCompEdu). Furthermore, the use of digital tools during vocational training supports and promotes the professional competences of teachers and trainers.
