The First Forum for Economic and Social Impact InnoBIZZ1, supported by the cluster, started on December 12 and was successfully completed on December 15 at the National Center for Mechatronics and Clean Technologies at the Technical University of Sofia (CTU). The main organizer of the forum was iNNOBIZ Academy with the support of CTU and Cluster Sofia Knowledge City. The focus of this forum was the social impact of investments. Topics discussed included the investment roadmap from knowledge to technology, the nature, scale and risks of investments in knowledge and innovation, the positive aspects of European investment policies, the role of investments in human capital development and many others.

Cluster Sofia Knowledge City supports the First Investment Forum for Economic and Social Impact iNNOBIZ1.

The forum is organized by the Scientific and Applied Institute for Innovation, Innovative Business, Technology Transfer and Investment (iNNObizACADEMIA) and will be held from 09:30 on December 12-15 at the National Center for Mechatronics and Clean Technologies at TU - Sofia, 8th building. 

It will present investment ideas and opportunities for transforming the social environment and urban spaces to create a new type of settlement the main feature of which is the presence of a stable knowledge infrastructure and continuous growth of social capital.

On 10.12.2024, the 2nd National Expert Meeting on the InvesTech Project took place at the Student Complex in Sofia, organized by the Cluster Sofia Knowledge City, the Joint Innovation Centre of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Technological School of Electronic Systems at the Technical University of Sofia (TUES). 

The topic was "Defining the roles, responsibilities, activities and services for the Center for Excellence in Vocational Education (CoVE) and generating ideas for a transnational platform for CoVE." 

The goal of the meeting was successfully achieved to share experience and good practices related to the functioning of a CoVE and to exchange ideas on the creation of a transnational platform for CoVE.

The 2-nd National Expert workshop on the topic of establishing a Center for Excellence in Vocational Education (CoVE) is about to be held. We invite like-minded people and partners who are experts on this topic to be our guests on 10.12.2024, Tuesday, at 2:00 p.m., at the Student Complex, 1 Rosario Str., 1756 Sofia. Following the meeting held a month ago, this is the second event in this format, where experts in the field of vocational education and training (VET) have the opportunity to exchange experiences and hold a discussion on the role and activities that such a center would perform at the national and international level. The meeting will also discuss the idea of ​​creating a transnational platform for CoVE, initially as a network of five European countries, and then in a broader context.
