The Innovation Vocational Excellence in Tech (INVESTech) project started with the first project meeting in Kosice, Slovakia. The meeting was hosted by the Technical University of Kosice. 35 participants from 6 countries (Slovakia, Greece, Lithuinia, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Italy) took part in this meeting to discuss about the project purpuse, tasks, schedule and the roles of the partners in the project performance next 4 years. From Bulgaria participated Milena Koleva and Dimitar Hristov (Cluster Sofia Knowledge City) and Teodora Sotirova and Daniela Levi (Joint Innovation Centre of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences).

Cluster Sofia Knowledge City took part in the tenth edition of the interregional cooperation forum "Europe, let's cooperate" (#europecooperates), which took place on March 20-21, 2024 in Antwerp, Belgium. This Interreg event was joined by cluster representatives Dimitar Filipov - member of the Board, Vihra Andonova - Chairman of the Control Committee and Krum Dimitrov - marketing and digitization intern working for the cluster. The event was organized on the occasion of the launch of a new call for project proposals and the inclusion of new countries in the Interreg Europe program such as Serbia, Macedonia, Ukraine, etc.

On March 19, 2024, the regular meeting of the SmartCityTech Partnership was held in Antwerp, Belgium with the participation of the Cluster Sofia Knowledge City.

Representatives of the partners from Aalborg Green Hub, Denmark, GAIA Spain, AMEC Spain, Bayern Innovative Germany, Tice Portugal, as well as representatives of the hosts from Antwerp were present.

The newest member of this partnership, the SCIC association from Finland also participated remotely.

At the beginning of January 2024, the Cluster Sofia Knowledge City ended its participation in the XD Media HUB project. This was a project that started on January 1st, 2022 and ended on January 1st of this year. To implement this project, we worked together with the following partner organizations:  CEED, Fasttrack Action, Socialenterprise4all, F6S, University of Deusto, Inqubator Leeuwarden.

The project aimed at revealing and disseminating information and knowledge about the challenges and opportunities for business development in the media and creative industries
