On October 16, three representatives of the Cluster Sofia Knowledge City will take part in a conference in Bologna on the topic "Green strategies: new professional skills and job opportunities for a sustainable future".
The topic is very current and is motivated by the results obtained from the implementation of the GoGreen Project.
At the conference, the results of the GoGreen Project will be discussed, and more specifically, the participants in the event will exchange information and opinions about the new professional skills related to the green transition and will seek answers to the following questions:
The DEGREBE project was successfully completed, in which the Sofia City of Knowledge Cluster took part together with 5 other partners from Greece, Cyprus, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Program and aimed to develop support tools for developing green and transversal skills in young professionals and students from the agricultural sector.
Why did we decide to participate in the project? Climate change and environmental protection are among the most important challenges that directly affect business.

We inform the members and friends of the Cluster Sofia Knowledge City that it is time to make a decision to visit the largest and most influential event in the world for urban innovation - the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), which will be held from 5 to 7 November 2024. SCEWC is the leading international event for cities and smart urban solutions, organized by Fira de Barcelona every year. This year will be the biggest edition of this event to date. Under the theme "Live Better", the exhibition and convention will have a 30% increase in exhibition space compared to the previous record-breaking event, which took place in 2023.
